Designed for CorkSport and standard-size cone air filters, the polyamide fabric mesh provides a barrier to keep your air filter performing at its best. Keep the large debris, heavy dust, and water spray from entering the filter media.

Fitment:

The Air Filter Cover is specifically designed for the air filters used on CorkSport Intake Systems (both the older and newer dual cone style air filters). Check your air filter before ordering so you order the correct size!

CorkSport air filters are labeled with a size on the rubber section of the filter: 3.0”, 3.5”, 4.0” & 4.5”.

CorkSport filter or not, you can benefit from an air filter sock! Check your non-CS filter size to see if this works for you! Small sock pictured.

Please verify the size of your air filter before ordering, as this item is not available for exchange.
- The air filter size is shown on the MAF side flange of the air filter itself.
- The small air filter sock works on 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0 marked air filters only
- The large air filter sock works on the 4.5 marked air filter only
The CorkSport Air Filter Sock is water repellant, not 100% waterproof. Heavy water impact can overwhelm the filter sock and pass through.
Mazda 2 air intake filters are not supported by these filter socks, they will be overly loose if installed.

The Water Repellant Air Filter Cover has been a nice addition to my setup, especially for daily driving. It gives a little extra peace of mind in bad weather while still allowing good airflow to the intake. Super simple mod, but definitely worth it if you run an SRI and want some added protection without hurting performance.

This is a really nice addition to the SRI setup. The material is hydrophobic. Water just beads off of it. It looks great when installed and has held up over 2 years for me and still looks brand new.

Works great. It's always super dusty in Texas and after several months of having this installed, my air filter is considerably cleaner than everything else in the engine bay. Also does great at keeping the water off which will be really nice when I get my vented hood in the future.

Wrap. Your. Filter. Protect Your Investment!

I picked this up with the short ram intake (Axe-6-117-22120) for my 2004 Mazda3 2.3L. Once you remove the factory air box to install the short ram kit, you’ll have a large filter exposed to the elements entering your engine bay. This simple product can prevent a lot of headaches and expenses!

You simply slip it over the tip of your intake down to the base, covering the filter element and securing it with the built-in elastic band. It’s designed as a pre-filter to prevent water from soaking into your filter media. Water beads right off. It’s especially helpful if you live in an area prone to standing water or frequent storms, like mine.

One time, I had to open the hood to check my power steering while it was pouring rain, and the wrap kept the filter from getting completely saturated.

It's also interesting how the wrap affects the appearance of the filter pleats. It’s not something you think about, but now that I’ve seen it in person, some filters just look weird without that protection.

Does not fit as great as a sock for my feet, but the instructions cover this.

I have an aftermarket hood that is vented and the timing of this release was perfect to make sure my intake filter stays safe from the added environmental ingress. Pre filtering dust and debris will also help keep the filter nicer for longer and help water from causing issues.
