You ask how to get your Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 to the next horsepower step and push past the limits of your OEM fuel system, allow CorkSport to help with the throttle body spacer. The Mazdaspeed Throttle Body Spacer is perfect for those wanting to add methanol injection for cooler boost temps and some extra fuel.
The Mazda 3 Speed TB Spacer features include three ports that can all be easily used with a variety of nozzles, intake manifolds, and throttle bodies, a clean black anodized finish and an O-ring for easy sealing. Read on for more details and specs.
The DISI fitment 72mm Throttle Body Spacer was designed to be as easy to use as possible. Atypical methanol port locations were chosen in order to maximize accessibility. Even though this means less total ports, each port can be used at all times, even with an OEM intake manifold. This also gave the CS throttle body spacer a lot of versatility to work with most methanol nozzles on the market.
The Meth injection spacer is designed for use with both Top Mount and Front Mount Intercooler setups. This allows you to get the extra fuel and/or boost air cooling you are looking for without requiring the use of an FMIC. Only a small modification to the silicone coupler is required. (Installed Throttle Body Spacer is shown on a Mazdaspeed 6)
The spacer utilizes an O-ring for sealing against the intake manifold for a worry-free installation. The throttle body side of the spacer can be installed with either the OE gasket and OE throttle body or the CorkSport Throttle Body which also utilizes an O-ring for sealing.
Like the CorkSport Performance Throttle Body, the inside diameter of the throttle body spacer was chosen to be 72mm to maximize the size that would work with the OEM throttle body bolt pattern. This allows for the most peak airflow possible. In addition, this makes the CS throttle body spacer a perfect fit for most upgraded aftermarket intake manifolds as well as the CS Throttle Body upgrade.
The methanol nozzle location thickness was carefully chosen. While seemingly insignificant, by putting the nozzles flush with the inside surface of the spacer, we gain slightly better airflow through the spacer due to the lack of obstructions but retain great nozzle spray characteristics.
Each CorkSport Throttle Body Spacer is precision machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum that is post-anodized for a great look and fantastic durability. A CorkSport logo is laser etched to finish off the spacer. Brass Pre-Sealed NPT plugs are included to block off the two ports that are not in use. Finally, stainless steel hardware is included to replace your too-short OEM throttle body bolts & make for an easy install without the need for a trip to the hardware store.
It will take you two hours to install the CorkSport Throttle Body Spacer with our easy-to-use instructions.

Does this kit come with the nozzle ? Or do I buy that separately
The kit does not come with a nozzle, you will need to provide one that works best for your build.
Would this fit a 2010, OE, non-speed, 2.5l throttle body? For context, I am putting together a custom turbo kit and would like to use this as a BPV/BOV vacuum line source.
This is designed specifically for the 2.3 and has not been fitted to that motor.
I would like to use this spacer to provide additional fueling (a fuel injector, not meth or water) will a threaded injector fit in this spacer? I want to use fuel from the tank for some extra cooling and to help keep the valves clean. I am NOT running real high boost, about 20-22 PSI, so extra fuel isn't really required, mostly wanting to be able to run a little more advance and keep the valves clean.
We wouldn't recommend using this for an injector, given the fact that its on the side of the unit. You should look into getting a 6th port Kit
