Installed this on my 2019 NA 2.5 MT hatch, which already had a Magnaflow axle-back and K&N intake, and an Off The Shelf 93oct tune with Versatuner. The car sounds great; it has a nice deep note with a bit of a growl at certain revs under load. Install was easy; the directions are super detailed, and despite the fact that you're ripping off so many things, it all comes apart and goes back together easily. We did a cat-back on an Evo, & the midpipe kit and the rear motor mount inserts on my car in 3.5 hours and were also working on a third car. We had a lift, which is worth whatever it costs to rent one.

After rocking the CorkSport Axle-Back with the OEM midpipe for just over a year now, I figured it was time for a change. While I loved the sound of the Axle-Back Exhaust, I was needing a little more zoom-zoom.
On the first cold start, the Axle-Back vs Cat-Back sounds were pretty similar. After driving however, the deeper and louder tones from this midpipe are evident and HEAVENLY. I haven’t experienced any drone or issues… Zero regrets with this upgrade!

I installed the Corksport 2.5" mid-pipe to my 2021 Mazda 3.
Previous to the install, since I bought the car 10,000 miles ago, I had a massive exhaust leak from the flex-pipe to mid-pipe flange.
The install was pretty straightforward. However the mid-pipe to axle back flange has a very minor exhaust leak and no matter how I tightened it, I cannot get rid of it. I called Corksport and followed their instructions over and over again with no luck on getting rid of that small exhaust leak. However there is no leak whatsoever from any of the other flanges. The stock system had a massive leak.
While installing the midpipe, I also came across many crazy corner cutting on the underside of my car. There were 3 bolts missing from the OEM chassis brace on the undercarriage, and there we also 2 washers missing. The exhaust hanger that hold the mid-pipe was a weird non-OEM hanger that is .5" shorter than the OEM one. I replaced all of these odd parts with OEM ones.
I'm happy that the mid-pipe finally doesn't have a massive leak from the header.
My car is much quieter now and pulls harder especially from 1,000 to 3,500 rpm.
This cat-back was recommended to my by my tuner, Daniel from DrTuned.

If you have any axle back exhaust from Magnaflow to borla etc. this mid pipe will fit with those mufflers. I will tell all of us who could be reading this review. I recommend buying a new crushed gasket from Mazda or reusing the gasket from you aftermarket axle back. Because I had a problem with an exhaust leak from the crushed gasket on the oem downpipe.Beside that I will definitely get this in addition to you axle back.

I wasn't 100% happy with corksport axle back but after installing this midpipe it got so much better car has a deep sound but it's quieter on idle than axleback which was one of my issues another issues that got fixed after installing this is drone disappeared and overall it sounds so much better it feels like this exhaust should only be made as a catback not axleback (without midpipe) but that's my opinion
also I did whole trunk sound insulation (after installing axleback) which helped with the noise levels inside a ton and made catback sound quieter than axleback

Was able to install on 2019 FWD Manual Transmission. Hardest part was disconnecting the O2 Sensor and the Cylinder Deactivation Valve. Install was a breeze with no CEL or exhaust leaks. Pairs well with the axle back exhaust for a nice sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzYIpW0HCf0 Cold start
