2010-2013 Mazda 3 Performance Short Ram Air Intake

Our simple to install Air Intake System is a MAF housing precision machined from billet aluminum with included air straightener. First off, a fantastic buy. The silicone may have some minor scratches on the inner walls but that’s just life. Overall the hardware is pretty dang great and fits the way you would expect. That said, I have a 250k+ 2010 3s and it was already running a bit rich due to a deteriorating wideband sensor. Make sure to replace your aging wideband as this intake will (at least initially) have your engine running richer than normal which can cause the catalyst efficiency code. Doesn’t hinder much, but should be dealt with before you go crazy on your pulls. However, If you have updated your engine bay according to the maintenance schedule, you should have no problems enjoying this fully right out of the box.

Super easy install. No CEL, so far anyway. Can’t say whether there was a definite increase in power or not, but the engine sounds much more aggressive (in the best way possible) after 4200 rpm.

This was a great purchase! The sound is amazing and the installation was really easy, and everything fit nice and snug. I love the products these guys have! Next on the list is maybe getting the exhaust they have.

Love this product. Great quality and easy install. No CEL. My gas mileage even saw a slight increase from a constant 27.5mpg to an average 28.5mpg. Would recommend.

Great intake noise, improved throttle response, but I've had a CEL the entire time it's been on my car. Got a code that told me the MAF was bad; replaced it twice (once with an "upgraded" MAF) and still get the light. Love the sound and throttle response, hate that the check engine light won't go away, even though the car performs fine.

Great intake noise, improved throttle response, but I've had a CEL the entire time it's been on my car.
