(Piggyback Fuel Computer) Modifies air-flow meter signal (pressure signal in some vehicles) to optimize fuel-air ratio; Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD). The second-generation S-AFC is a fuel computer that adjusts fuel/air ratio by modifying the air-flow meter/MAP sensor signal. The S-AFC features a user-definable, eight-point, adjustable fuel curve that can be set in 500 RPM increments. The range of fuel adjustment is 50% at each of the user-defined setting points. On hot-wire vehicles, the Deceleration Air Flow Correction function is capable of curing the erratic idle and stall problems associated with open-atmosphere blow-off valves on hot-wire air-flow meter systems. The S-AFC is capable of monitoring and replaying the following data channels in Numerical, Analog Meter and Graph displays: Intake Manifold Vacuum/Boost Pressure, Air Flow Capacity, Intake Manifold Pressure, Karmann Frequency, Engine RPM, Throttle Position, and Air Flow Correction %. Menu selections: Monitor Mode: Allows monitoring of up to four channels at one time. Also allows tracing of AVC-R monitor functions. Setting Mode: Allows user to adjust air/fuel ratio through Hi and Lo Throttle maps. Other features such as throttle percentage settings, RPM point settings, and deceleration air-flow correction are adjustable through the setting menu. Etc. Mode: The etcetera menu is used to adjust the variables that are required for the S-AFC to properly adjust fuel (i.e. # of cylinders, throttle position sensor type, sensor type, etc.)

The BEGi rising rate fuel pressure regulators (FPRs), also referred to as fuel management units, are designed specifically to provide additional fuel to EFI engines, whether normally aspirated (N/A) or pressure fed with turbos or superchargers. This is accomplished by using the manifold vacuum/pressure to drive the fuel pressure up as the boost rises, or with the N/A engines, as the vacuum goes toward atmospheric. We introduced the rising rate fuel pressure regulator to the market over 20 years ago and we’ve been improving on that original design ever since. Why is the BEGi unit the best on the market? Billet manufacture, improved valve design, and fewer parts with the integrated accessory design. Further, we’ve increased the span of adjustment for broader rates of gain. Even the onset of gain is adjustable! No other regulator provides the onset adjustment. We also offer all regulators in a billet aluminum finish. Models Rising Rate Regulators The BEGi standard rising-rate regulators are designed to increase fuel pressure and fuel flow in a fuel injection system by augmenting the factory fuel pressure regulator. These regulators must be used in conjunction with a factory regulator, which provides the base fuel pressure (the fuel pressure at fuel rail during idle conditions). Our Multi Role line of regulators are designed as stand alone systems and eliminate the need for a factory regulator.

The HKS Super Mega flow element is a 2-layer, dual density, wet-type polyurethane filter that uses an impregnated viscid fluid to attract and stop damaging dirt particles from entering your engine. This bonded fluid allows use of a larger pore design for maximum airflow without sacrificing filtration. Standard in the Super Mega Flow is the HKS trademark green filter element. Replacement filter elements are available in Green, Purple, Red, Grey, Yellow and Orange.
Circular Grounding System - By utilizing a 24 karat gold plated distribution block and multiple grounding points, improved idle and drivability are often obtained as the additional grounding points equalize resistance and voltage between various ground points. NGK Spark Plugs is introducing its new Powerdex AFX Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor for the performance aftermarket. This product meets the increasing demand in the market for precision air-fuel ratio monitoring tools.
Traditionally these types of tools commanded price tags that could only be justified by professional race teams and engine specialists. As technology advanced, many low-cost air-fuel ratio products emerged. Some used actual wideband sensors while others simply read OE style narrowband oxygen sensor signals and attempted to convert them to linear readouts….often with marginal success.
With the AFX, NGK now offers the most affordable wideband system to date. A flexible and rugged system complete with everything needed to get you tuning. The kit comes with a digital display control module, 13’ wiring harness, wideband air-fuel ratio sensor, exhaust boss and plug, and a comprehensive tuning manual. The tuning manual includes installation instructions and contains a detailed guide to performance air-fuel ratio tuning.
The AFX measures and displays air-fuel ratio (AFR) from 9.00 to 16.00. It demonstrates superb response and accuracy within 0.1 AFR. The air-fuel ratio information can then be utilized by the user to make fuel delivery adjustments to the vehicle’s carburetor, mechanical fuel injection, or programmable electronic fuel injection system. The desired air-fuel ratio can be achieved depending on the performance requirements of the engine or race application. This is an exceptionally useful tool for carbureted engines, where there is a lot of freedom in tuning as well as a great need for proper adjustment.
The AFX also has analog output for use with datalogging tools.
