The 3rd generation of the Mazda 6 is the second Skyactiv model to be released after the Cx5 which included the chassis, drive train, and safety upgrades. One gasoline engine is offered in the 2014-2017 model years, the 2.5 Skyactiv engine which generates 184 horsepower and 185 torque.
