Protect Your Engine

The EGR system routes some of the exhaust gases back into the intake manifold to help reduce emissions. Those exhaust gases bring carbon and soot into your intake tract, which can easily gum up the intake valves leading to poor performance (check out the Intake Valve Cleaning blogfor more info). The CorkSport EGR Delete Kit remove both main components in this system, meaning your valves can stay clean and operating at 100% for as long as possible, especially if you have a CorkSport OCC installed!

Materials and Manufacturing

The block off plate for the EGR valve is made of 3/8” thick billet aluminum to ensure high strength and great corrosion resistance. Each plate is precision machined to closely match the OEM flange shape for a clean looking install and the ability to reuse the OEM gasket. The EGR tube block off plate is made from laser cut T304 Stainless Steel for a low profile plate that retains the strength you need to ensure a good seal. Each kit also comes with a barb for your turbo’s coolant feed line, a stainless steel intake manifold plug, and high strength hardware that’s the proper length to work with the CS EGR valve block off plate.

Bonus Features

Aside from the engine safety and clean look, the CorkSport EGR Delete Kit makes some of your future mods easier. Removing the OEM EGR valve from the back of the engine means more space near your CorkSport Turbo. This makes swapping turbos easier and is even required for certain turbo setups. In addition, if your turbo requires a different coolant feed than the standard rubber hose, the EGR valve block off plate is tapped for 1/8”-27 NPT so you can adapt it to whatever fitting you need. Planning on upgrading to a CS Intake Manifold? An EGR tube delete is required for the CS and most other custom intake manifolds.
