Installation is way longer than an hour, took me closer to 3 (not counting a trip to O'Reilly's since I lost a nut). Taking the end links completely makes it easier, 1/4 in socket wrench (deep socket)instead of your normal 3/8 made getting the top nut off the bracket so much easier. Took it for a test drive on soft setting and the difference is immediately noticeable, feels like I can do donuts on this Fwd car lol. Make sure you tighten everything, then tighten again. If you hear clunking you left something loose.

I always tell people that this is one of my top 5 mods on my 3!

Even on stock suspension, the rear sway bar made a massive improvement on body roll and handling. The stiffer ride not only increases corner grip and speed, but also gives a huge sense of confidence to the driver. I no longer feel like I’m going to roll on any turn above 30 mph, and can really power out of the curves.

Hands down one of the best handling mods out there!

I agree with mostly all the positive reviews here. I'll add that using a 90 degree grease coupler adapter on a grease gun allowed me to utilize the hard to reach zerk adapters.

This is a must have for anyone who owns a 3rd gen Mazda3! The difference that a stiffer sway bar makes when cornering is night and day, especially if you go for the most aggressive setting. I would highly recommend buying Corksports adjustable end links as well, so that you can make the most of the added rigidity.
Install is a bit more difficult than I was expecting (the brace bolts are tough to get to until you find the perfect length of socket)
Still, only took a few hours. 6/5 ⭐️ s

Took me about 45 minutes to install. Few install tips that helped me, lower the rear subframe some, and you’ll get more access to the sway bar. Once loose, it came out easily and the new one went in place. It comes with grease and zerk fittings to add grease later as well.

I’ve noticed a lot better cornering with this sway bar, it doesn’t feel like the rear end wants to break free anymore. Amazing product!

I have installed stiffer rear sway bars on almost every car I have owned in the last 20 years. They are ALWAYS worth it. Factory rear sway bars (if equipped) are always "just good enough" and really, are never worth a crap in my opinion. I installed this bar on the softer setting along with the front strut bar and my 2017 M3 in lowered on CorkSport lowering springs and Koni Red shocks. I may move up to the firmer setting once I get a stiffer front sway bar so I can add in just a touch of oversteer. Right now I have hardly any body roll and just a slightest touch of understeer.

The swaybar itself is great. It GREATLY improves the handling of the car, really stiffening up the rear and heavily reducing body roll. I genuinely love the product but it does have a couple flaws; neither of which are with the swaybar itself.

There are only 2 gripes with this product; first being the install instructions. Instructions say to leave the subframe as-is, which leaves you with VERY little space to work with. I personally recommend you lower the subframe, not completely remove it as it would be quite difficult to get it back. Simply lower the subframe by loosening the 4 nuts holding it in place on their studs, lower on the threads. Do this slowly as to not add too much stress, but also do not worry as the studs are ridiculously strong for subframe mount points. This will allot you much more space to remove the oem swaybar and install the new one.

My second gripe is with the provided swaybar brackets. The walls of the brackets block off easy access to the top nuts that you need to tighten on the swaybar. I tried an assortment of tools and attachments to make it easier but it really is a pain.

If you are looking to improve the handling of your car I highly recommend this. Just be sure to save yourself the headache and lower the subframe a bit in the process!

Well worth the money. I would always lose the rear end when taking sharp turns like it was disconnected, but this solved it.

Pros
- increased grip to front end
- reduces chassis flex, sinking
- eliminated all body roll
- ties rear end to front end for better handling

Really noticed the difference right away from upgrading, the CS sway bar is significantly thicker than the OE one which in itself is a big upgrade. With the stiffness settings it changes even more, I'm a local to the Dragon so I'm out there a lot and the car handles the corners so much better with this. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to help out their suspension

If you want more handling performance out of your third gen this is the first mod I would consider. I have run this rear bar since 2016 on two vehicles and have not been disappointed. The adjustability really becomes an advantage as you upgrade your other suspension components as you can fine tune the handling as your skill and tires allow.

Will a front anti roll bar be made for the 2018-2014 Mazda 3?

Why are the torque settings in CorkSport's instructions different from the OEM service manual, even when factory nuts/bolts are used? For example... Your 2014+ Mazda 3 Adjustable Rear Sway Bar instructions state the following: "Reinstall and tighten the four (4) factory 14mm bracket nuts to 50ft-lbs." However, the Mazda service manual for the 2014+ Mazda 3 shows the rear stabilizer bracket nuts should be tightened to 16-19 ft-lbs.

The anti-sway bar for the 2014 Mazda 6....

On a hoist, I and a mechanic friend looked under the rear of the Mazda. The small OEM sway bar is attached with two small vertical rods....to a sway bar that is 'buried' above a lot of other metal.

How would the new sway bar be installed?

Does it install in the same location as the OEM sway bar?

Or does it hang under and connect from underneath?

I've had the bar installed on my sedan for about a month now and am enjoying it greatly. The install was a bit involved but the clear and detailed instructions were very helpful. It took a bit over an hour from start to finish but was well worth the time and money spent. I've only used the bar on the softer setting so far and can still feel a difference when cornering hard. The rear of the car stays planted and reduces overall body roll. I think the rear bar will compliment a lower and stiffer suspension greatly, I recommend it to anyone looking to improve cornering feel and overall handling. Well done, CorkSport!

Just installed it on my Sedan a couple days ago. I immediately threw my car around every corner and the difference is very noticeable. I don't even have it on the stiffest setting and it has reduced the understeer significantly. Install was a lttle tedious and but worth it!

Just an update as I've driven on the stiffest setting for the past week or so.. it's even more amazing now! Hardly any body roll at all and understeer is at a minimum, slightly stiffer springs (hurry up already! lol) will probably get rid of the rest. It takes corners like a dream, turns that use to squeel tires are solid and all grip now. Definitely didn't need bigger/stiffer bar though, not for street use, this one is perfect! I can't wait to go tear up the Tail of the Dragon next week, I just wish I could have had springs by then.. but stock + this bar will do just fine, it's a great improvement and 100% worth the money.

Great product, did this with the springs, Install was a little tight, but I have bigger hands lol. If you enjoy driving at all, I'd recommend just going straight to the stiffer setting. If you have 18" wheels, you'll need it. My 2L/6Spd Touring hatch just killed a built R32 GTR in the local autocross; and I gotta say, I'm more than stoked!,Thanks Corksport!!

I have had the CS rear sway installed for a few weeks. The only thing that makes this product fall short is the install in my opinion. Difficult to get the inside bolts on the billet bracket tightened up, the space is ridiculously tight to begin with and the added size of the bracket makes it more difficult. I ended up getting it to a mechanic who used a lift which made it easier to tighten down but even he said it was difficult. Corners like it is on rails though!

OK..... Let me start by saying this is a great bar and really makes a difference to the neutrality of the car.

Installation was a rough game on the Mazda 3.

Removing the wheel, the link to the old sway bar and the spring were easy. Removing the bolts for the old brackets was a very hard procedure without half height or pass-thru sockets. Tightening the new aluminum brackets was even harder due to the shape of the milled brackets.

I finally gave up and had to drive the car to my mechanic to tighten the brackets completely.

Be sure to have the right tools for this job. I thought I have a lot of tools, but not the right one for this job.
