I installed the 80mm CBE almost a year ago (it shipped with the new midpipe hanger to help with the driveshaft issue) and it has never hit or scraped my driveshaft. I am / was impressed with the build quality and welds, and as long as you follow directions, the exhaust tips will stay on if you put em on right. I have not had any exhaust leaks, but, again, I did follow the instructions to a "T". There is no need to weld them like some people claim. The sound is great, and in my honest opinion, it is not excessively loud- but it is considerably deeper and has a certain "growl" to it with minor burbles on idle. To be fair though, I haven't heard my Turbo 3 being driven by me so all I really have to guage its loudness is cold starts and cabin noise lol.
Be warned, if you don't like noise, there is a slight drone at 70+mph, but then again, if you didn't want to hear your car then why would you get this 80mm exhaust in the first place? Other than that, there is no drone on regular roads and it's perfect for a daily driver looking for an "oem plus" feel.

Well the only bad reviews were for the drive shaft rubbing but they include an entirely new exhaust hanger bushing now so I didn't have that issue. I absolutely love it, it rattles my garage when I first start it in the morning it's so loud on start up I can't even hear the seat belt chime. Really impressed how deep and choppy it sounds especially just idling. Looks beautiful installed, sounds incredible, power gains on the top end, car doesn't even vibrate anymore when you're at a red-light in drive with your foot on the brake. If you're even remotely interested in purchasing this product I'd say just do it, no matter how I look at it this exhaust it was an upgrade in every way.

Absolutely outstanding exhaust! Has a very deep and throaty roar that only improves with time. Engine/throttle response is also greatly improved, and there's no longer a slight hesitation after getting on the throttle. Running this in conjunction with the BMS Stage 1 intake for the time being and it's definitely a nice-sounding, free-breathing combo.

Highly recommend utilizing at least 4 jack stands, due to the Downpipe>Midpipe connection being hard to reach otherwise.
Also, while not specified in the "Tools Needed" section of the instructions, a 22mm Wrench (not Socket) is needed, in order to remove the O2 sensor. Fortunately, a neighbor was kind enough to let me borrow an adjustable wrench, and after repeated swear words and "love taps" on the area around the O2 sensor, I was able to get it off.
All in all, I highly recommend this exhaust to those that both want to increase your performance and scare the local wildlife. 10/10

Easily best sounding exhaust for the 3, very throaty exhaust tone brings a whole new life to it! Should be on everyone’s wish list or future mod list!!

Wow! I love this pipe! I had previously purchased the air intake, and subsequently the heat shield, and loved the turbo sounds released. Now there is a great sound at the rear end as well. It has a very nice tone and is very streetable without being obnoxiously loud. There is also a noticeable increase in responsiveness. It took me a little more time than the 2 hours but I'm sure that varies and I had to get a new air gun mid-stream especially to get the front exhaust bolt on the driver's side. I highly recommend this quality made exhaust system!

The girth the bubble butt jelly bean/egg car needs and deserves. A nice deep note with a pleasant in cabin experience (and mine is stripped out with some sound deadening) but also sounds great in a stock interior. Greatly helps the butt dyno feeling and there's little to no doubt people are going to turn heads in many types of vehicles. Compliments have come in from everything under the sun so far.
Cold starts will get attention, and parking garages are fun again. The car gains a bit of low and mid range power with the exhaust girth freeing up turbo spool removing air flow restrictions on our tiny turbo.
The added downpipe once available to the public just makes every aspect even better, giving the car a MEAN growl.

Like a fine wine, this exhaust only gets better with time! The wizards at Corksport have somehow perfected the tone and volume of this exhaust; quite aggressive and pronounced when on the throttle (though not obnoxious), and subdued yet still noticeable when not.
As for my experience with the driveshaft contact issue: I used the Corksport provided extended exhaust hanger and had no issues. Aside from some standard mishaps to be expected, everything went in and aligned as designed!
Love it!

Thank you for making a tough sounding exhaust! Got a compliment from an Audi R8 driver. He said it’s the best sounding car he’s heard in this class of car. Made my day!
I wanted to respond to the review talking about the driveshaft rubbing on the exhaust. I had the same issue. CS has quickly responded to the issue by developing an extended midpipe hanger to help lower the exhaust away from the driveshaft. They shipped out a kit to all customers automatically for free. Thanks CS!
