    Several rear motor mounts are available for the BK-series Mazda 3, but this is the only one I have seen which is an exact OE fitment (it may even be a gutted-and-stuffed OEM stamping) using the factory bolts. The improvement is astonishing. The sloppy "rubber band" effect during heavy throttle transitions and gear shifts is *gone*, as the new mount mitigates rotation of the entire powertrain. A small concession is a bit of tolerable vibration, but this should settle down after a few hundred miles of break-in. Drilling a circle of eight 1/8" holes in the urethane might reduce this, if you want to experiment.

    The installation instructions are accurate, except for the socket size required for removing the three bolts that secure the alloy bracket to the transmission - they are 19mm, not 17mm. Drive your car up on ramps, and the work takes less than an hour.

    Forget my last review. After a couple hundred miles...can totally feel the difference. Much smoother! When you let go the clutch a little at a red light, it goes foward without jumps on the transmission. Feels like an automatic ! Plus, shifting to 2nd gear is a breeze. Great product
    I don't know really, maybe I was expecting much smoother shifts bcz of the awesome reviews this part has...but honestly so far, I barely feel any difference. Just installed it, hopefully it gets better after a few hundred miles on it or maybe I should learn how to shift again :/ ... Anyhow, super easy to install 30 minutes max.
    Huge improvement over the stock mount. Can feel a huge difference in shifting, much smoother ride now. Install was incredibly simple, even for someone with little mechanic experience.
    Had a tech at my dealership install mount. Discovered previous owner had installed a cp-e brand mount. The mount was broken! Installed the CS mount, and wow what a difference. I was wondering why I had been having such a hard time making smooth shifts. Now I know why. With the CS mount the shifting and feel of the power is so smooth. Amazing difference!
    Will this mount fit on a 2013 Mazda 3 Skyactiv 2.0?

    Fantastic RMM Corksport! I installed the 70 Duro and it has completely eliminated the dreaded wheel hop and also the shifts between gears is more snappy, this is without any increase in vibrations and NVH. The car is much more solid now, thanks CS!
    I'm wondering what the difference is between this, and the CORKSPORT Mazdaspeed 3/ Mazda 3 Race Rear Motor Mount for $99, is it just a new model of it? Don't know which one is better to order. Could you help.

    CorkSport Reply:Both mounts use the same urethane. The race mount body is CNC billet aluminum, the rear mount is a steel body which is welded.
    Big improvement over stock RMM. Impressed with how tight the transmission feels with the new unit. Vibration and noise is not even noticeable....GREAT STUFF!
