Description
Get maximum turbo performance and dramatically increase torque with the Mazdaspeed 3 Power Series Downpipe. The CorkSport Mazdaspeed3 downpipe was expertly designed to replace the restrictive element in the Mazdaspeed 3 stock downpipe
The CorkSport Advantage
Fitment Choices:
Pick the 65mm flange for stock fitment (it will also work with all aftermarket exhausts), or 80mm flange for the CorkSport Cat Back exhaust and true 3" piping. Either way, mandrel bent piping is used to create smooth exhaust flow for dramatic increases in power.
Improved Power:
With just an intake installed, you can gain up to 50 HP more by adding the long catted downpipe or short downpipe and race pipe.
CorkSport Short Downpipe:
Replaces just the downpipe section but not the racepipe for a cost-effective solution that works with the stock racepipe, or aftermarket. For lasting corrosion resistance and reduced heat transfer to the engine bay, the CorkSport MS3 downpipe uses polished 304 stainless steel and features TIG welds that offer superior arc and weld puddle control for a cleaner appearance and precise weld bead control
CorkSport V2 Long Catted Downpipe
Our long downpipes now use our new “modular” system to improve flow, enhance fitment, and simplify installation in your MS3 engine bay. The design utilizes a cast stainless steel bellmouth with a v-band connection to 3” stainless steel piping. A 300 CEL high-flow cat is included to help keep emissions in check with minimal drawbacks. The long downpipe replaces both the OEM downpipe and racepipe sections.
Additional Features
- Remove exhaust flow restriction: by replacing the single most restrictive element of the exhaust, the downpipe
- 304 stainless steel piping: for corrosion resistance and reduced heat transfer
- Mandrel bent: for a smooth exhaust flow and solid power increases
- Fitment: 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3, 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3
- TIG welds: for a stronger more seamless connection
- CorkSport Service and Support: Receive a 2-year warranty, full-color installation instructions, all of the needed installation hardware, and knowledgeable telephone installation support
- For off-road & race use only.
- HPFP upgrade and tuning required for proper and safe operation.
- A check engine light (CEL) will be illuminated on catless and some catted setups as a result of installation.
- Take note of your catback exhaust size before ordering if ordering the long catted downpipe. There is a different downpipe whether you have a 3-inch/80mm exhaust or an OEM/2.5” exhaust.
- AXL-6-114-18 Fits Cat-Back Exhausts like the CS 80mm and other 3” exhausts that use the OEM style flange.
- AXL-6-114-19 Fits Cat-Back Exhausts like the OEM and other 2.5” exhausts that use the OEM style flange. It also fits 3-inch and 80-mm exhausts but with a flow restriction.
- Only fits on turbochargers with OEM downpipe flange shape.
- If you are ordering the long-catted DP and have a CS turbo with an EWG off the turbine housing, the wastegate will need to be moved to the turbine housing directly, and a new dump tube used. CS part number GEN-6-575-17 is needed and it is available for purchase HERE.

I have an '09 MS3 with your SRI... Warranty is up so time for the toys...Is there a specific fuel pump upgrade you recommend running with the downpipe? Also as long as I get the catted model will I be ok running this in NY?

Does this car have the old forge BPV with the nina sword sound? CorkSport Reply:Yes it does.

What's the difference between going with the catted down pipe and the CBE vs the non-catted down pipe, the catted race pipe and the CBE? The second option seems less restrictive and still legal.

Hey CorkSport, I currently have a MagnaFlow Cat-Back exhausted system installed (3inch tubing). Just wanted to make sure the catted downpipe option will align/fit with the magnaflow and would I need a 65 or 80 connection? http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/displayapplications.asp?partnumber=15557 CorkSport Reply:The Magnaflow exhaust necks down to the stock size donut so you will want our stock fitment racepipe.

Will I be ok installing a downpipe+high-flow cat on a 2010+ mazdaspeed3 and leave all other exhaust parts oem? CorkSport Reply: An upgraded fuel pump would need to be installed. A tune is a good idea as well.

I just got my down pipe as a b-day gift ;-) lucky me lol!, I spent an hour or so on Friday doing installation of course I did not finish because it got dark, then finish everything up next day. Starting from instruction on how to instal to the product itself, everything was perfect. The final result is just wow! Sound wise, it got a deeper, robust, louder but not too loud tone, which by the way I love it(still stock exhaust on my car). Performance wise, the kick you get from the higher torque is a huge difference, the only bad thing is I cannot hit it too much because I am waiting for my HPFP(high pressure fuel pump) internals in order for me to hit my car as hard as possible. Main points so far, installation is a pain in the but but Corksport make it as painless as possible with their great instructions and awesome product quality which by the way, CS down pipe has better fitment than stock. If you get down pipe please get HPFP since is a must or you will blow up engine. Corksport, what an amazing job you did. Extremely happy with product, result, customer service, etc.

I will say this product was a breeze to install. Taking the old down pipe off was not as easy. I installed this with the cat back and catted down. So far no check engine light so thats awesome hope it stays that way. The oxygen sensor socket is a must for this install as well with a lot of patience. But in the end well worth it. Love the sound with the cat back. I will post back later after i throughly test it. thanks CS.
