The CorkSport Advantage
Sound Boost:
The CorkSport cat back exhaust completely replaces the OEM midpipes and restrictive OEM muffler section with 63.5mm mandrel bent pipe and pass-thru resonators. The larger pipe adds a great sound and tone for the backroads while the high-flowing resonators control drone so your car is still comfortable on the daily commute! We tested multiple resonator setups in both the axle back and midpipe sections and found that the asymmetric axle back design and large oval resonator in the midpipe results in the absolute best combination of tone, volume, and drone control for your MZ3.
Horsepower Gains - Non-Turbo:
What good is sound without a little power to go with it? Installing the CorkSport Cat-Back Exhaust (with the CorkSport Short Ram Intake previously installed) netted us approximately 20wTQ and 10-18wHP. You can see significant gains from 2700rpm through the rpm range til redline at 6200rpm. Note: AWD Turbo model has not been tested.
OEM Fitment:
Each CS cat back exhaust system was designed from the ground up to fit just like your OEM exhaust system. We offer two different midpipe setups for great fitment, no matter if your vehicle is AWD or FWD. Don’t worry though, both use the same resonator design so you know your car will sound great, regardless of your drivetrain!
Cylinder Deactivation:
If your Mazda 3 is equipped with cylinder deactivation don’t be worried because we have a solution for you. Utilizing a bracket made out of 304 stainless steel, you can mount your cylinder deactivation motor securely out of the way to ensure no check engine lights are set and also reduce the restriction caused by the factory internal valve.
Personalized Appearance:
The Mazda 3 catback exhaust system comes with your choice of exhaust tip option. We have fitments for the hatch, sedan, and even the hatch with the aero kit! The aero kit option is simply a more aggressive hatch fitment that goes perfectly with the more aggressive OEM Mazda aero kit. If you want a more subdued look, the regular hatch fitment also looks great. To top it off, each tip fitment can be adjusted outward to suit exactly the look you are going for on your Mazda!
Materials & Manufacturing:
The CorkSport cat back exhaust is made from fully polished, mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel for a fantastic look that will stand up to the elements and keep your Mazda breathing easy. All joints use TIG welds for long-lasting strength and all hanger locations have extra bracing to ensure a secure exhaust for years to come. Lastly, each exhaust comes with all hardware and gaskets that are needed for installation to keep your Mazda 3 running smoothly!
- NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) in the cabin of your vehicle will be increased by the installation of this exhaust. We highly recommend you view the above video to hear the exhaust note inside and outside the vehicle.
- Exhaust will fit on vehicles equipped with the turbo engine, however, a larger CS Mazda 3 cat back exhaust is in development specifically for turbo models!

Sounds so good. I have it installed on my '23 GS AWD. It's loud enough but not too obnoxious. Cold Starts are great, sounds good when driving, and certainly turns heads. I will certainly continue to buy more CS parts!

As soon as I started the car after install, I knew I had something different compared to what I was used to with just the SRI on my 4th Gen 3. The cold start is a bit more than I would ever expect from a 4-banger but dissipates fairly quickly to just a subdued hum. WOT is an audible joy combined with the sound of the throttle opening/closing. Going to enjoy this for a while before the next upgrade sitting in the box in the corner!

The cat back exhaust is absolutely amazing. I have it on my 2022 Mazda 3 gx an it sounds fantastic. From 2K to 3K rpm’s it sounds amazing and definitely worth the purchase. The cold start definitely catches you off guard and you really feel it.

This exhaust is absolutely amazing. From the sound of it, to the quality of the exhaust. It was so nice I almost didn’t want to install it. The deep non raspy tone of the exhaust is perfect and it doesn’t sound like your regular N/A 4 cylinder. I went with the aero package tips even though I don’t have the aero package because I wanted the tips to stick out a little bit further. I can’t say enough about this exhaust and how well crafted it was.

Deeper tone. Louder from inside but not obnoxiously so. No drone. Absolutely love how the exhaust tips extend slightly past my rear bumper

Highly recommend the CorkSport Catback exhaust for the 4th Gen Mazda3. I installed it in my garage in about 3 hours with the rear of the car on ramps and front on jack stands. The instructions are fantastic and the quality of the exhaust is very impressive. My car sounds fantastic and looks good too. My only “complaint” is that the tips are finicky to get aligned and tightened with the clamps. I’d probably suggest taking it to a muffler shop and getting the tips tack welded on so you don’t have to worry about them.
