The CorkSport Advantage
Responsive Performance
The CorkSport Dual VTA BPV responds as low as 50 milli-seconds keeping pressure in check and the turbo spinning freely. This is made possible with a few key features:
- The piston weighs a mere 38 grams with the O-rings installed which reduces the required force (and therefore time) to accelerate and move the piston.
- The piston and body design work together to minimize the chamber volume at the top of the piston. With the smaller volume, there is less air to be removed before a full vacuum is present, reducing the amount of time needed to start moving the piston upward.
No Leaks
O-rings are used for all critical sealing interfaces to provide a valve that can stand up to the pressure and has been tested to 50psi.
Dual VTA-Bypass Design
The VTA design of the CorkSport Dual VTA BPV allows the valve to function as a normal full recirculation design for most daily driving situations; essentially during minimal boost pressures and light throttle lift-offs.
The VTA ports will then be utilized for medium to high boost and abrupt throttle lift-offs. The higher boost levels cause a larger pressure differential between the intake manifold and charge pipe during throttle close, resulting in the BPV piston moving further, opening the VTA ports.
Flexible Design
Standing just 2.5” tall, the CorkSport Dual VTA BPV is compact which is great for compact engine bay and custom intercooler piping. The VTA BPV also features an integrated hose port to reduce the chance of leaks and lost parts.
The nozzle features 3-way adjustability allowing the nozzle to point 15 or 30 degrees off-center.

They don't send a new o-ring. It's like what, $3? Instead of using a potentially old and cracked one, or not even having one as in my case. Just another way CS continues to make things more complicated than they need to be.

Installed this BPV yesterday and right off the bat i have to say i love the high pitched chirp i get with just about every shift. Made a noticeable difference in the way the car builds/holds/releases boost. Once you hit the clutch to shift at WOT the turbo lets go of the pressure and is IMMEDIATELY ready to spool again and spool fast! My only gripe is the small whistle you get under cruising speeds. It's not a bad sound. Just different. I feel it will grow on me. Also received pretty incredible service from Brett. Would recommend this part to any and everyone who is modding their MZR DISI!!!

Cannot say enough good things about this BPV. Gets the nice chirps of the blow offs without the hassle and surge issues that come with BOV units. This is an excellent upgrade whether you're looking for better sounds or faster blow off for an upgraded turbo. Have only had it on for 3 weeks but get compliments on the noises everywhere I go. 10/10 would recommend this over any other BPV or BOV on the market. As always with corksport installation was a breeze. BUY THIS THING AND MAKE YOUR CAR GO ssssssssSSSSSSSS PSSSHHHHH pewwww.

5 stars across the board on this one. Beautiful design, quick response, good price and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that VTA sound. Not too loud, but enough to induce eargasms.

I was a tad hesitant about the price. Boy was I wrong. I was running a different brand name bypass valve when I swapped my turbo. Although the other unit's spring was rated for 24lbs, it just was not responsive and wouldn't hold boost that well.

This bypass/vta valve is amazing! It took me 10 min to install. I went for a drive and the chirps and whoosh of air rushing during wide open throttle is satisfying! The construction of this product is on point, not cheap and doesn't look cheap. For the price it's a good trade off for how good it looks and sounds. Its not complicated with other 50/50 blow off valves where you have to adjust them. This product is like a two in one. I'm glad that it doesn't look like a trumpet for the vent to atmosphere port. It holds boost and does whoosh when your going wide open throttle. Corksport, you guys never disappoint!

Awesome little BPV/BOV. I was running the Forge v2 before this one and wanted something a little different. Always liked the thought of a dual VTA option but didnt want any problems with my custom tune because of the VTA. Install was a breeze and it fits prefect without having to adjust anything. It has a cool array of sounds from a small whistle on light shifts to a nice whoosh on full boost shifts. Its a little more expensive than others but I would buy again in a heartbeat. You get a great BPV from a great company that is always making new stuff for our cars. Cant go wrong with Corksport as a whole.

This valve installs like any other valve. Only difference is it comes with it’s own vacuum line which is silicone and stretches and squeezes over the vacuum ports without needing a clamp. I removed my TMIC which isn’t required, just a personal preference. Previous valve was an authentic HKS SSQVIII. This CS valve is lightyears ahead in smoothness/quickness. Response, Flutter, Pressure Holding Response is probably the quickest on the market, smoothness is unreal, you cannot even feel it operate. I was able to hit over 24 psi on an original K04 turbo It’s not a loud valve, but it makes a lot of whistling noises while driving around. Part throttle shifts it has a whistle sound similar to a Greddy Type S. WOT it makes a standard pshhh sound followed by a whistle. It is very small, a nice black color with a CS logo. It has a very high quality feel and looks high class. Once I figured out the vacuum hose, the rest of the install was no different than any other valve. This valve is probably most comparable to the Turbosmart 50/50 valve. It is very smooth and very quick. Probably the best functioning BPV I have used. It uses the OEM BPV gasket so that is something to keep in mind if you no longer have yours.

Installation was a breeze. Only had to remove the intercooler shroud to access and replace the vacuum signal line. One thing of note - I was previously running the TurboSmart Street Unit BPV which does not use the OEM bypass valve gasket. I did have to purchase a new OEM gasket. After installation and driving the car daily the CS VTA BPV seems to hold more pressure. The response time is quick, and the sound emitted on pressure release is just enough to make you want to shift more often. For daily driving I've been loving the soft chirp when shifting gears. It's audible from inside the car with the windows up and music playing at a reasonable level. Under hard driving the sound is a little louder, not so much of a chirp but more of an audible pressure release (air rushing), I've also noticed less backfires when shifting compared to the previous BPV I was running. The design and style is everything I expect from CS in a product. Solid engineering and great fit and finish. 10 out of 10, would buy again. Overall, I would say that this BPV has increase the driving experience of my car, both audible and when it comes to performance. It provides more smiles per mile, and that's a win in my book.

I have had the New CorkSport VTA BPV on my Mazdaspeed 6 and couldn’t be happier with the performance and sound. Still on the K04 turbo I am custom tuned at 20 PSI, and this BPV has an awesome response time. The dual vent is also a nice feature. During normal daily driving in traffic the BPV is quiet with it mostly venting to BP, but under high boost shift you get a very nice VTA blow off sound. Even though it is a part VTA BPV I have had zero issue running it on my custom tune that was done on the OEM BPV. Install is quick and easy, reusing the OEM BPV O-ring/Gasket is also nice and insures a good seal. If you are like me and want something that looks as good as it performs you can’t go wrong with the new CorkSport VTA BPV. I can’t wait to see how it performs on my BT 30+ PSI setup down the road.
