Description
Increase power and torque with the CorkSport V2 Turbo Back Exhaust featuring the new Modular Catless Downpipe for the 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed 6. This new V2 design uses our modular system to improve flow, enhance fitment, and simplify installation in the cramped mazdaspeed6 engine bay. The design utilizes a cast stainless steel bell mouth with a v-band connection to 3” stainless steel piping followed by the original MS6 Cat-Back Exhaust. Performance Focused:
Pairing a performance downpipe with the high-flowing cat-back exhaust is the ultimate power package for your Mazdaspeed 6. Designed to work seamlessly as one unit, this is the best way to get the most power from whatever turbo you are using. We suggest a CST4 or CST5 for the street!
Fitment Inspired:
Knowing most Mazdaspeed owners are the DIY type, we aimed to make installation and fitment easier with the V2 design. The modular design with a spate cast bell mouth and v-band connected pipe section does just that.
With the 2-piece upper and lower sections of the downpipe, all downpipe nuts are now easier to access as you do not have the lower section in the way while tightening. This allows for easy stud & nut access and cutouts designed to fit sockets & wrenches. Lastly, should you ever need to remove the downpipe or turbo for maintenance, the bellmouth portion can stay attached to the turbo! Disconnect the v-band clamp and remove the lower DP section from the exhaust.
Materials & Manufacturing:
All piping is 304 stainless steel mandrel bent and TIG welded. CNC machined v-band at the bell mount ensures a leak-free seal, TIG welds ensure high strength, and mandrel bend ensures smooth exhaust flow.
Hardware and Accessories:
Included with your turbo back exhaust is everything needed for installation. This includes a stainless v-band clamp for the bellmouth to DP connection, brand-new downpipe mounting studs and lock nuts, a new flange gasket at the mid pipe, and even an O2 sensor harness extension. We’re most proud of our custom MLS downpipe gasket included with each kit. We port-matched it to the DP bellmouth & CST6 Turbo to ensure no flow restrictions whatsoever!

- Tuning required for proper and safe operation.
- A check engine light (CEL) will be illuminated on catless and some catted setups as a result of installation.
- Only fits on turbochargers with OEM downpipe flange shape.
- If you have a CS exhaust manifold with EWG on the manifold, the EWG dump tube must be replaced with the V2 design in development.
- If you have a CS turbo running an EWG off the turbine housing, you will need a different dump tube to fit this downpipe correctly. CS part number GEN-6-575-17 is needed and it is available for purchase HERE.

Although a sharp edge cut me right out of the box, the fit and finish as top notch as always. Beautiful massive piping, but a very smooth and tame exhaust note. I personally think it doesn’t express the amazing natural note of the MZR very well, but very nice nonetheless with minimal to no drone.
