Polyurethane Performance

Strength In Steel

In order to properly install and torque the performance rear motor mount, precision machined black zinc coated steel sleeves are used inside the polyurethane to allow proper bolt torque to be applied.

I've had this in my car for 2 months now. This was the first mod I made to my 2015 Mazda 3. This mods has made the biggest difference in the way my car drives. Shifting is smoother and the throttle response is much better. I have since installed the corksport Cat back exhaust, the corksport crankshaft pulley and an Injen Ram Air intake. None of these has made as big of a difference in the way my car performs as this motor mount. P.S. Installing the Corksport Crankshaft pulley helped the vibrations you get when the A/C turns on.

I installed this part on my 2014 Mazda 3 (2.5L, AT) about 1200 miles ago and I couldn't be happier. Installation was a breeze (finally I have a car that makes it easy to ditch the splash shield and get under the engine) and instructions provided were dead accurate. As far as NVH goes, I only notice a different in 2 scenarios: idling in park without the compressor running (no A/C or windshield vent going) or occasionally when downshifting into first while braking to a stop. For the other 96% of my driving, I'd consider the ride comfort greatly improved: I no longer feel the engine wrenching against the rubber OEM mount (which has a stiffness rating of "I can manipulate over an inch of movement with my bare hands") on stronger acceleration, and throttle response is noticeably more immediate. This errs just on the side of people mentioning it when they first hop in your car, but after the break-in period you'll forgot you even changed the mount until there's a kick from the compressor at a stoplight. And whatever frown that moment creates is quickly replaced by a smile when you hit the accelerator.

I installed this item on my CX-5 Saturday and right away you can feel the vibration and hear the noise throughout the vehicle; I have a manual transmission. After driving it around it subsided and by the next start up the vibration wasn't as bad but it was still prevalent. I am hoping that after time it will subside more because when the AC is on it vibrates a lot. I do feel the difference in driving, the vehicle responds quicker and feels sturdier. But if after a month or so the vibrations do not lessen I may go back to stock and give up the performance gains. If CorkSport produced 3 different settings like one of their competitors do for other Mazda models, I would definitely buy the "Street" version like I had on my CX-7. Overall not a bad investment. The vibration takes some getting used too especially since the vehicles are made with lighter materials. I am definitely going to invest in some Dynomats.

Installed on my Mazda 3 yesterday. As expected there is quite a bit of vibration at idle but that should lessen a little over the next couple weeks. You can definetly feel the difference in stiffness and if you watch the engine at wide open throttle it doesn't buck back towards the firewall anymore. Adds like 21.56 horsepower to the butt dyno! I think this is my favorite modification aside from the rear sway bar.
