2010-2013 Mazda 3 / Mazdaspeed 3 Front Sway Bar
Description
Improve handling and maintain ride height and comfort in your Speed3 while minimizing body roll with the CorkSport Mazda 3 2010-2013 / Mazdaspeed 3 2010-2013 Front Sway Bar. Intended to compliment the CorkSport Rear Sway Bar, this is not adjustable by design. If you prefer more under or over steer, simply set the rear bar firmer or softer to match your driving style. Each sway bar includes machined 6061-T6 aluminum sway bar brackets which are more durable than the stamped steel design common with other sway bars and look sharp with an anodized black finish.

I did not realize how much a single suspension mod can effect a car until I installed this front sway bar. I installed this on the stiffest setting and my confidence while driving has increased tenfold. The car feels much more planted through the twisty roads I like to detour through. I noticed significantly less body roll after install, even before I added the rear sway bar as well. The most complicated part of install came due to lack of maneuverability as I did this on the ground. If you have access to a lift that is a plus but not required! Overall, this was a five star purchase. If you are looking to make your car a track monster or even just have more fun on the occasional spirited drive, I highly recommend pairing this with the rear sway bar as well as the adjustable front swaybar endlinks (might as well get them all done at once!)

So I have the rear sway bar and that went in no issue. I ordered this one along with the corksport sway bar end links and not only did the end links not fit the hole they’re supposed to go into, the old ones didn’t either. I had to bring it to a shop so they could bore the hole out a little bit which was kind of a pain. Performs well though and fairly easy to get in otherwise.

I installed the CS RSB with the stiffest setting in December of 2016. My 2011 MS3 had an otherwise factory suspension. Then I had the FSB installed in February of 2018 by a reputable mechanic. For those looking to DIY, I highly recommend using a lift for the access and visibility benefits. Installation is a long and involved process, but the benefits are well worth the effort. Driving impressions....I immediately noticed that the roll balance (front/rear) was more consistent than with just the RSB. In simple terms, the front and rear roll behavior match much better with both big bars installed. The turn-in immediacy and precision provided by the FSB transforms the car and makes it feel much lighter and more agile. I really like the car this way, and for me there is no going back. The swaybars give better roll control, and somehow seem to make the steering more accurate while powering out of corners. Torque steer has not been eliminated, but perhaps it has less leverage on the steering with the big bar. I am murky on the physics, but the impression from the driver's seat is better path accuracy as the differential starts to lock up. A marvelous benefit. In all, this is a quality kit and I highly recommend it. The brackets are impressively designed and constructed. The bar has had no fitment issues. I had the factory end-links replaced with the CS adjustable ones at the same time as the FSB. Only minor issue was an end-link bolt on the bar side worked loose a few weeks after installation causing a clunking noise = easily remedied after trouble-shooting on a lift.

I have both this and the rear on my Mazda 5. Yes, the front is a fit for the 5. However, the bolt hole spacing on the brackets was not a match, so I had to do some last-minute "machining" to reduce the spacing 5mm. Everything did bolt up after my ghetto hole-widening. Note: my stock endlinks died almost immediately. Am installing new, beefier ones (though not the CS model).

I installed his product about 2 weeks ago combined with the Corksport rear sway bar and I must say the suspension feels so much grounded and the amount of road feel is amazing. Best part is that this stiffened my coilover suspension so everything feels tight and I've gone auto X with this product and it truly makes a difference in your steering! Must have

As a Mazda Tech, I know Mazda put out a TSB in regards to the nuts that actually hold the sway bar to the end links, in both front and back. The TSB says if you have nut type A to replace the nuts, as they are not reusable because they are a lock nut, and could back off over time. If you have type B you can reuse them. I have type A on my car, was wondering if this kit came with new nuts to hold the sway bar to the end link? As I know I would have to replace the nuts anyways.

Since the is no FAQ, ill ask my question here. Does your Billet Sway Bar Brackets fit the Front Sway Bar for a Gen1? When the picture description mentions the Billet Sway Bar Brackets being used, it specifies the rear sway bar. The installation of the Billet Sway Bar Brackets also specifies that they are only for the rear in the title. Plus, the add for the Front Sway Bar says the diameter is 28.5mm. The option of 28mm for the Billet Sway Bar Brackets is smaller then 28.5mm.
