2014-2018 Mazda 3

The 3rd generation of the Mazda 3 is the first full Skyactiv model to be released which included the chassis, drive train, and safety upgrades. Two gasoline engines are offered in the 2014-2018 model years, the 2.0 Skyactiv and 2.5 Skyactiv motors. The 2.0 makes 155 horsepower and 150 torque while the 2.5 offers 184 horsepower and 185 torque.

The Mazda 3 Skyactiv engine responds well to performance modifications allowing you to increase 12-17 horsepower with bolt-on performance modifications. With a tune and premium fuel there is more available due to the engines high compression and valve timing controlled by the ECU.
