#Mazdaspeed3!

The CorkSport Advantage

The best mazdaspeed 3 exhaust

Performance Benefits:

The CorkSport 3.5” Turbo Back Exhaust was developed to be the ultimate exhaust for your MS3. The 3.5” diameter piping and bellmouth design are large enough to efficiently support ~850+WHP. While you could make that power on a 3” exhaust, a 3.5” typically will make the same power on less boost or even make more power with minimal tuning changes. Even on lower horsepower cars, the CS 3.5” exhaust shows benefits to turbo spool time. On a car with a built motor and supporting mods, we’ve seen spool time to 30psi improve by up to 300-500RPM compared to a typical 3” exhaust! This car also held a boost better at higher RPM due to the added flow.

Great New Sound:

The added flow of the 3.5” CS exhaust also adds some volume to your MS3. By using high flowing straight through resonators, we were able to eliminate drone and unwanted sounds from the exhaust without impacting horsepower levels. We created a system that is surprisingly tame while cruising yet when you hit the throttle on an open road, the CS 3.5” exhaust is rowdy, with comparable volume levels to our existing non-resonated cat back exhaust. The extra-large pipe does offer a unique ultra deep tone that we haven’t heard on most other MS3 exhausts!

Fitment Inspired:

With the larger pipe, we wanted to not only provide great fitment but make it easier to deal with your downpipe. By separating the upper and lower sections of the downpipe, we were able to alleviate some of the difficulties when installing a DP on your MS3. The bellmouth can be easily accessed when attaching it to the turbocharger without the pipe section in the way. Plus, we ensured plenty of clearance for sockets and/or wrenches for tightening. You can even leave the bellmouth attached to the turbo in case you need to remove the downpipe or turbo for maintenance! The rest of the exhaust was designed for direct OEM fitment, despite the huge pipe size. The only modification needed is a slight bend to an underbody heatshield!

Materials & Manufacturing:

Starting at the turbocharger, the CS 3.5 inch TBE uses a cast 304 stainless steel bellmouth for strength and reliability. From there back, all piping uses CNC machined V-band flanges TIG welded to mandrel bent 304 stainless piping. CNC machining ensures a leak free seal, TIG welds ensure high strength, and mandrel bends ensure smooth exhaust flow. We control sound using straight through resonators with high quality packing materials. Finally, the exhaust is finished off with polished dual layer tips in 112mm (4.4”) diameter that include a laser engraved CorkSport logo. All combine to make an exhaust that looks, sounds, and performs great and will take all the abuse you can throw at it!

Hardware and Accessories:

Included with your CS 3.5” exhaust is everything needed for installation. This includes stainless v-band clamps, brand new downpipe mounting studs & lock nuts, and replacement polyurethane exhaust hangers. We include the CS poly hangers to ensure no vibrations or rattles with the tight fitment of the 3.5” exhaust. Finally, the thing we’re most proud of is our custom MLS downpipe gasket included with each kit. We port matched it to the DP bellmouth & CST6 to ensure no flow restrictions whatsoever!

  • For off-road & race use only. This means keeping it on the track and not on the highway.
  • A check engine light (CEL) will be illuminated on catless and some catted setups as a result of installation.
  • Note: This is a complete Turbo Back Exhaust System from turbo flange to exhaust tip. This is the only way to purchase a CorkSport 3.5” Exhaust System because we wanted a true 3.5” pipe from turbo to tip. You CANNOT purchase the Cat-Back Exhaust alone.
  • Strongly advise against combining this exhaust with a KO4 or CST4 IWG. Overboost/boost spiking may occur on some IWG and EWG setups. Refer to fitment tab for details.
  • If you have a CorkSport Turbo with external wastegate housing, the wastegate will need to be moved to the turbine housing directly and a new dump tube used. Check out the CS EWG Dump Tube for 3.5” Downpipe for more information.
  • NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) in the cabin of your vehicle will be increased by the installation of this exhaust.
  • Only fits on turbochargers with OEM downpipe flange shape.
  • If you have a CS exhaust manifold with EWG on the manifold, the EWG dump tube will fit with CS 3.5” downpipe.
  • Slight modification to rear underbody heat shield required for installation.

2010 to 2013 how to installation instructions for a Mazdaspeed 3 turbo back exhaust system

AMAZING SOUNDING EXHAUST. I RUN THIS ON MY CST6 STREET CAR AND MAKE 697 WHP. INSTALLATION WAS EASY AS ALWAYS. CORKSPORT INSTALLATION MANUALS ARE TOP NOTCH!
Ask any car guys wife and she will tell you it’s the same thing every time.

They are at a restaurant having a nice meal, she’s mid conversation talking about what color she wants to do the back splash. Then all the sudden she is interrupted by a thunderous almost ear-splitting noise as someone doing a 1-2 pull from a busy stop light. The windows shook and the viper alarm on the 98 civic outside went off, but what car was it.

It was a 2013 Speed3 with 3.5” turbo back. If it’s not the impressive 112mm tips, it’s the ferocious noise it makes as it rips apart the space time continuum while you beg for traction. It’s the only CS exhaust to sound so barbarous and ear piercingly loud as you shove all the hydrocarbons through it.

Lady in streets, but when you want it loud it's a freak in the sheets.
Dear mother Mary and Joseph is this thing one SERIOUS piece of hardware. BEAUTIFUL construction even more elegant design. Remember that high school crush? Well this ain't her. Easy to please and even easier to install. This cast bellmouth to vband had me irrationally angry at any other exhaust and DP I've ever installed. Take it from me, I'm on the spectrum and this thing just flew onto the car like a stiff breeze with no shorts on. Good thing you're not wearing shorts now because start that hoe up and prepare to walk awkwardly for the next few steps to get inside pilot's chair. Wow that was difficult with an erection but wait there's more! Slap into second and roar upwards to 7k and you will realize toot sweet that 2-4 k rings like MZR in 4k and onwards and upwards will fill you drunk with acoustic power. Oh what's that, you're a person of culture!? Your screamer pipe and ewg chime in on the baritone with short choppy hate that can only be described as "GET OFF MY LAWN".... FORGETTTAAABOUTIT

If the turbo back setup is not recommended for KO4 turbos, what would be the correct path to go before upgrading to a CTS4? I still have a stock turbo. What's the better alternative to this exhaust system if this isn't recommended?

Does the 3.5 Dp to go with the exhaust come as a catted option?
