Remove the tendency to overpower the front tires under hard cornering and minimize traction robbing body lean with the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Rear Adjustable Sway Bar. Compressing inside suspension, the CorkSport Mazdaspeed 3 Rear Sway Bar effectively increases the spring rate on side of the suspension which is compressed most and its adjustability allows you to fine tune the handling. Each Mazdaspeed3 sway bar includes machined 6061-T6 aluminum sway bar brackets which are more durable than the stamped steel design common with other sway bars and look sharp with an anodized black finish.

How to install a Mazdaspeed 3 rear sway bar

Paired with the front sway bar and the adjustable front sway bar end links, my car now handles like a DREAM. Couldn’t ever imagine going back to a time where I did not have these sway bars installed.

Solid construction, step by step instructions that make it simple even while combating the typical rusty undercarriage that comes along with a midwestern car. The adjustability is nice because it allows the effect to be more or less aggressive depending on your driving style and needs. This kit comes with all the hardware needed to install too, which is always a plus when you are trying to get something installed in time for a same day test drive!
Just installed both the front and rear sway bars yesterday in a couple of hours. They arrived on time and well packaged as usual, even with an extra little treat and some stickers!

Installation was not as bad as I thought it would be. Everything came out and went back in really smoothly, although I think that mostly depends on how rusty your car is underneath. The sway bars themselves are really high quality and look incredible, especially once you get all the brackets and hardware attached to it. It’s a shame you can’t really see them once they’re installed!

The cars waiting for first day of testing in spring but I have no doubt these are going to make a huge difference. These are an absolute must if you’re thinking about doing any racing or just want better handling for some fun spirited driving. I also like that I have some adjustments for the rear to balance out the over/steer in the turns.
Corksport was very helpful. I ordered this and informed them that I would be moving out of state and they were helpful enough to get this shipped to me and keep me updated the entire time through the receiving of the parts and shipping the sway bar link itself. The sway bar itself is great quality and sturdy enough to hold up. A great replacement for the rusted bushings and sway bar that's on my car currently.
So much better than stock happy I waited for it. Definitely worth the upgrade.
Great performance, but eats end links. I'm about to take this off my 2012 MS3 after about 20,000 miles because it has destroyed a second pair of end links. About 5-10k miles after installing this sway bar, I started to hear a clunk from the rear when going over angled bumps or turning sharply, anything that uses the sway bar. It got progressively louder. I replaced the worn end link, noise went away. Came back on the other side, replaced that, noise went away. 10k miles later, it's back again. I wish CorkSport sold beefier end links that could handle the sway bar, because turning those into a 10k mile consumable is not worth the minor handling upgrade for me personally.
I've had this sway bar on the stiffest setting for only 50 miles and I am impressed. Installed with a new pair of end links. The car is much more confident in cornering and this has got to be my second favorite(after rear motor mount Stage 11) and instantly noticeable install.
I bought this RSB for my 08 speed3 over a year ago. Install was a little longer because I had to cut the old sway links off but it wasn’t bad. I went straight to the stiffest setting and haven’t looked back! High speed cornering has vastly improved. The car feels like it’s on rails. This RSB coming with the CNC mounts makes it a no brainer over other options available out there.
I've been driving with this for about 2 weeks now on the "low" setting I guess you could call it, and this has definitely corrected the issue with understeer. I'm actually curious about trying the "high" setting just to see how it feels. As always CS provided absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. I mean the brackets alone are a true work of art.
drive with confidence. I wanted this for a while and betrayed CS for a different brand and it didn't work out too well and I suffered greatly. I have over 10 CS products so far and they haven't get me down.
In December of 2016, I installed the rear sway bar on my 2011 MS3, which had an otherwise stock suspension. Installation straight-forward and can be done in under an hour, including time to lift the car and setup. Some of the bracket and end link wrenching angles are slightly awkward, and I found a 0.5-in drive to be helpful on the bracket bolts. I used the stiffest of the two end-link positions.

Driving impressions...I appreciated the “tucked” in feeling of the rear end during cornering and decreased body roll, which made canyon carving more comfortable. In my experience with aggressive street (not track) driving, the RSB on its stiffest setting does not turn the car into an unpredictable drop-throttle oversteer monster, even in lower traction conditions. Breakaway is gradual and predictable. My suspicion is that the large degree of static camber and camber gain in the rear suspension help with cornering traction.

In all, I am very pleased with this RSB kit. The fitment is excellent and the spring rate is perfect. The brackets are impressively high-quality pieces, and I have had no squeaking issues to date. The RSB works best with a stiffer FSB - see my review there for more details....

Will this work on non-mazdaspeed models? I have a 2012 Mazda 3 I touring, with the Skyactiv engine

I currently have Corksport's older rear sway bar with the 3 hole settings. I no longer recall the stiffness rating for that bar and hoping you could tell me if the stiffest setting of your current rear sway bar is greater than the stiffest setting of my bar? Thanks in advance.
