I have a 2011 Mazda 3 hatch with the 2.5L engine. This was super easy to install and the instructions are very easy to follow. Its crazy how much of the OE intake is removed. The short ram intake looks and sounds amazing!!! I really notice it around 3000rpm. Love the throaty sound it makes. My next purchase will be the CS exhaust with the race pipes added to complete the package. I highly recommend this upgrade. Not that expensive and very much worth it.
Got a 2011 Mazda 3S 2.5 GT. This is such a sweet mod, and after 2+ years I'm just now reviewing it (better late than never, right CS?)
I was reminded to review this after my coworker commented on the engine growl during a lunch trip yesterday. I've gotten used to it, but I remember how giddy I was when I first heard the difference. It's also a great feeling when you see how much of the stock intake you end up removing.

I'd be interested to see the HP gain with this SRI and stock exhaust compared to this SRI with a CS exhaust.

I never found one (that's not custom), but it'd be cool to have a hood with a side scoop/gill that sits over and feeds the SRI :)

Thanks again CS!
Just installed today -- took about 45 mins to remove the old air box, assemble the new one, and install it. Was well worth the time and money: very noticeable improvement in pickup and a definite growl when accelerating from 2500+ RPM. Still waiting to see if there's an improvement in fuel economy.
My wife bought this for me 2 years ago on Christmas and ever since then it worked like a charm. Makes your car sound way more aggresive and you can feel the difference between stock intake and this one. Thank Corksport you guys do not disappoint!
This was the first upgrade i got from CS. It has made my car sound much more aggressive than I ever expected. Amazing product and would recommend 10/10. Don't waste any time getting this intake. Paired it with the cold air box and install went smoothly. Ive never been a car guy and installing this appeared daunting at first. However, CS instructions made everything so simple. Zoom Zoom, my friends!
I love my new corksport intake! It adds a nice growl. It's really noticeable at 4000 RPMs, great product, I am planning on doing much more business with corksport. Thanks!
First upgrade I put in my '10 sedan. Sounds mean as hell and noticeable throttle response definitely gets on the power much quicker. Recently bought the cold air box for it and will be installing promptly. Paired with the power series exhaust makes one angry Mazda.
Really easy to install. I'm not a guy who touches anything under the hood and it was really simple. My car started right away and everything was running perfectly. You don't really notice the sound when it idles or even in first gear but when you shift to second and third and hammer it, you can really hear the growl. It sounds amazing! I couldn't stop flooring it. Power wise, I didn't notice a significant difference but it's worth it just for the noise... I'm eyeing my next upgrade. Thanks CorkSport!
Quality is great. Shipped to New York State in 2 days. Installed in 20 min. Looks good sounds great with no engine light. Couldn't be happier. After putting 60 miles on I reset my trip Computer and my average mpg is up by 2.
Quick to install and amazing quality. I just love that sound. Step by step instructions make installation a breeze took me 20 min. tops! Plus it makes the engine bay look so much better!

I cleaned the air filter using the K&N Filter Cleaner, but much of the red color was washed off. Is there any way to recover the color? I was thinking in applying the K&N oil can but I'm reading not to do that, else I'll damage the MAF sensor.

Would installing a "CORKSPORT High Flow Panel Air Filter" or a "CORKSPORT Power Series Short Ram Intake" in my Mazda 3 2.5L 2010 make a bigger difference to my cars performance?

My mechanic buddy recommended an oiled filter (K&N) versus the dry that comes with this intake. Thoughts? I don't want to screw up my first mod!

I know that the turbo inlet pipe for this sri is only 2.25 inches but if I got a 3 inch tip, would it link to this intake.
