Brett from CorkSport here today, and I\u2019m ready to show you a basic guide to follow on how to service and lubricate your Dual VTA (or any BOV for the most part.) Typically it\u2019s good to do this every couple oil changes or so.<\/p>\n<p>The main things that you will want to inspect is the O-Rings, and look for any contamination. Clean off old grease, dust, or grime.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8918\" src=\"\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image7-1.jpg\" alt=\"Don't forget to inspect the O-Rings.\" width=\"592\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image7-1.jpg 592w, https:\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image7-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fully Clean out the inside of the valve housing as well. Make sure you evenly coat it throughout the housing.\u00a0Also be sure to lubricate the piston and the O-Rings as shown. We Recommend Lubriplate 105 as your go to grease for this valve!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8919\" src=\"\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image2-5.jpg\" alt=\"Make sure you evenly coat it throughout the housing. \" width=\"554\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image2-5.jpg 554w, https:\/\/corksport.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/image2-5-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 554px) 100vw, 554px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reassemble the valve and reinstall. In this video, the CS preferred grease was not used.
