This short shift plate works perfectly for me. The guys at Corcksport have done their homework on this one just like everything else. I evidently have a Speed6 that was built before Oct 2005 so I had to drill a hole for one of the fasteners but even with that installation was a piece of cake. I will say that a 5/16 drill bit was recommended in the instructions. I thought that was going to be a little too sloppy so I dropped down to a 1/4 bit and found it to be just right.
