I installed this sway bar on my 2019 MX-5 RF at the beginning of 2022. I am a heavy autocrosser but also drive my MX-5 daily. This sway bar has been excellent on and off the autocross course, so far. If you are looking for a huge performance advantage but still want reliability this is a good option for your MX-5. I will continue to monitor the sway bar and if something happens I will update my rating accordingly.

Seek Truth. The OEM Bilstein dampers and springs on my 17 RF Club did a great job giving me a well-rounded ride quality around town, highways and even rough roads. But as communicative as I found the chassis to be, something in the suspension was deceptive... She whispered dirty, manipulative lies into my ear; bluffing that she wants to give out and oversteer far before reaching her limits. And while you knew she would settle down a moment later, that initial bluff was unnerving to a point that it would curb the enjoyment out of every corner I wanted to speed through. It was hard to take her seriously. Sound familiar? If you're looking for more confidence and truth-telling from your Miatas chassis, you've made it to the right place. My decision for running these as my only suspension modification was a calculated one, and if you value your money, yours should be too. While the price was higher than some competitors, I found some advantages that were well worth the extra coin. The bars, for one, are tubular. The machined brackets were robust and never failed me. The zerks were convenient as well. But in the 2.5 years I ran these bars, they never needed re-greasing. Not a squeak, not a rattle. Nothing. Silent Transformers. That's right. These bars don't just perform, they transform. The unnerving stutter upon turn in is gone. The ride quality is beautifully retained. You would never know these bars are at work, because technically they aren't, until you get into a corner... and that, my friends, is where the magic happens. The "increased" spring rate these bars progressively transfer to that outer wheel keeps the car incredibly flat, while mid-corner bumps and imperfections continue to be soaked up nicely without upsetting the chassis. When she starts speaking the truth, you realize you're no longer in a car that's just fun (or hilarious) to drive... No. It becomes one of the most rewarding experiences one can have behind a wheel. A seamless mechanical extension of your mind, body and soul. Worth. Every. Penny. 2017 MX-5 RF Club Corksport Front & Rear Sway Bars + Corksport Front Endlinks.

Every review of the new MX-5 is fantastic, and all the writers have amazing things to say about the car, but they can all agree on one thing: too much body roll. I had read that it was intentionally done to increase driver engagement, but it definitely detracted from my driving experience. It also made the car feel too loose and all over the place under stress. I picked up the CorkSport front and rear sway bars for my 2016 Club MX-5, and this I have to say that this is the car that Mazda should have released from the factory. It corners so much more flat, with way less body roll, and feels how the upgraded Club car should have felt in the first place. After some trial drives and setups, I decided to run both my bars in the middle setting for more neutral handling as it is mostly a road car. I can't say enough good things about these bars, as they really wake up and improve the driving experience on an already amazing car.
