The 80mm CBE is the ultimate exhaust for those who want the best sound and performance out of your Mazda. The tone is more aggressive than the CS 63.5mm CBE, but refined at the same time giving it the best of both worlds. The 80mm cat back was optimized for the SkyActiv-G Turbo engine, but will also fit the AWD non-Turbo models if you want a louder more aggressive exhaust tone.
The CorkSport Advantage
Optimized Sound:
The CorkSport 80mm Catback Exhaust was designed specifically for the 2.5L SkyActiv-G Turbo engine as a complete cat-back with unique dual chamber resonators. Because of this, the 80mm exhaust will only be sold as a cat back.
When increasing the piping diameter, commonly more drone is created which is annoying to drive with. We developed the dual chamber resonator specifically for this engine to combat drones in both high and low frequencies.
While retaining the same unique asymmetrical axle back design; we went through multiple resonator setups and this combo proved to offer the best sound with the least drone so you can enjoy the best of both worlds while driving.
Horsepower Gains:
The Cat-Back Exhaust provides improved horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range vs the OEM exhaust system when tested on a Mazda 3 Turbo model. Gains of 5-13wHP & 5-23wTQ were measured with a DynaPak chassis dyno on an otherwise stock vehicle. After installing, there is no tuning required for your Mazda. Depending on your mods, you may achieve a higher power potential.
OEM Fitment:
Fitment was a major part of the development of the CorkSport 80mm CBE. We went to great lengths to ensure that the fitment matched the OEM quality so the installation is spot on. We checked fitment with the stock hatch bumper, appearance kit bumper, and sedan to ensure all setups look and fit as good as the CS 80mm CBE should.
To provide great ground clearance and ample room for the drive shaft, the exhaust was tailored to fit the vehicle.
Materials & Manufacturing:
The CorkSport 80mm CBE is constructed from 304 stainless steel, mandrel bent, and TIG welded. The Cat Back is then fully polished to provide a great look. We have reinforced the hangers with extra support to make sure they will withstand harsh driving conditions.
Complete Install
Included with each exhaust is all of the necessary hardware and gaskets so the installation can be completed quickly without any interruptions.
- NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) in the cabin of your vehicle will be increased by the installation of this exhaust. We highly recommend you view the above video (coming soon) to hear the exhaust note inside and outside the vehicle.
- NOTE: There is no option for FWD fitment at this time.
- Sound was optimized for turbo models, installation on a non-turbo AWD model may result in drone and/or overly loud exhaust note.
- Non-Turbo AWD models equipped with cylinder deactivation will need to purchase the cylinder deactivation bracket from CorkSport separately. Call us to order (360) 260-2675

Like a fine wine, this exhaust only gets better with time! The wizards at Corksport have somehow perfected the tone and volume of this exhaust; quite aggressive and pronounced when on the throttle (though not obnoxious), and subdued yet still noticeable when not. As for my experience with the driveshaft contact issue: I used the Corksport provided extended exhaust hanger and had no issues. Aside from some standard mishaps to be expected, everything went in and aligned as designed! Love it!

Thank you for making a tough sounding exhaust! Got a compliment from an Audi R8 driver. He said it’s the best sounding car he’s heard in this class of car. Made my day! I wanted to respond to the review talking about the driveshaft rubbing on the exhaust. I had the same issue. CS has quickly responded to the issue by developing an extended midpipe hanger to help lower the exhaust away from the driveshaft. They shipped out a kit to all customers automatically for free. Thanks CS!

10/10 sound. not too loud not too quite. 10/10 welds. reason i’m giving a 3 star is because the fitment was off. followed the instructions and aligned the flanges and gaskets perfectly but the exhaust ending up rubbing on the driveshaft and taking some paint off. i had to readjust the exhaust by pulling it away from the driveshaft and retightening all the bolts down. everything is good now but now i gotta repaint my driveshaft before it gets some rust. other than that well built exhaust and solid sound. NOTE from CS: an extended exhaust hanger has been provided for all effected customer free of charge and quickly once the interference was identified.

Love my exhaust! Fit requires careful following of instructions, will rub the drive shaft if not mounted properly. Performance and sound is AMAZING! Sounds like a proper performance vehicle instead of a quiet little sleepy thing. There is some drone cruising at highway speeds, but it's minimal.

What's that? I can't hear you over my luxury sport plus mods. the added sound really defines the spirit of this car, no annoying drone and all bark. Inside the cabin is pleasant and the sounds of the intake and exhaust have me driving on the low end of my fuel economy. Fit and Finish are top notch as usual from a CS product
