The kit features a stainless steel license plate bracket and a steel tow hook screw zinc plated that utilizes the factory tow hook location. The kit is easily installed and removed using the included low profile 19mm wrench and will withstand the harsh elements for years to come. Another benefit of relocating your license plate is that it helps free up more of your grill so more airflow can get to your radiator and intercooler if you have a turbo model. Fitment:
By using the existing tow hook location that is present in the front bumper of your Mazda, the CS License Plate Relocation Kit does not require any permanent modification to install. The stainless steel license plate bracket is slightly angled to better follow the bumper lines and provide a nice look. The license plate bracket also offers a quick detach feature so if you need to remove the license plate quickly for any reason you can simply loosen the bolt holding the bracket with the included 19mm wrench and slide it up and off.
Materials:
For the license plate bracket we chose to use 11 gauge 304 stainless steel to ensure that it will withstand all types of environments and weather conditions. This material was also selected for its strength to ensure that it does not move around or flex while driving. The tow hook stud on the other hand is made from steel and is zinc coated to provide corrosion resistance.
Hardware and Accessories:
All of the included hardware is stainless steel and we provide tamper resistant screws to mount the license plate to the bracket along with the specific bit. We have also included a low profile 19mm wrench so that you can easily remove the license plate bracket if needed. You can place it on your key chain or in your glove box and it also features a bottle opener as an added bonus.
- Longer screws might be needed to use certain license plate frames.
- This product is not compatible with Models that have front parking assist sensors.
