(Advanced electronic boost controller) Highly flexible boost control with revolutionary new functions; Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD). The Super AVC-R is the premium closed-loop electronic boost controller on the market. The AVC-R allows flexible control over virtually every aspect of boost control and adds new innovative functions such as injector pulse monitoring and gear specific boost control. Some key functions include: RPM-based boost and solenoid duty cycle control, scramble boost, self learning mode, 2D ghost map trace mode, analog display mode, real time replay and peak hold data modes. The AVC-R utilizes an ultra-fast microprocessor and a high quality solenoid valve to control boost. The result is ultra-fast response and accurate, stable boost control. Menu Selection: Monitor Mode: Allows monitoring of up to four channels at one time. Also allows tracing of AVC-R monitor functions. Setting Mode: There are three setting modes: A, B, or OFF. A total of two boost settings are available with the AVC-R. Selecting OFF will turn off all boost control. Etc. Mode: The etcetera menu is used for configuring the variables that allow the AVC-R to properly control boost. (i.e. the number of cylinders, speed sensor type, throttle sensor type, gear judge, etc.)
The Apex Auto Timer allows the vehicle to idle for a preset amount of time after the ignition key has been removed. In turbocharged vehicles this prevents hot oil in the engine from coking up in the lines. Hard driving can raise engine oil temperatures to dangerously high levels. Proper cool down is essential for a healthy turbo and engine. In normally aspirated cars, the Auto Timer can also be used to warm/cool the inside of the car without having to sit inside. The Auto Timer stands as a technological marvel. The pen shaped, compact size makes the Auto Timer one of the smallest turbo timers on the market. This allows a clean and stylish installation virtually anywhere inside the car. The unique multi angle joystick button allows easy navigation through the many feature menus. Upgraded in every way from the previous model, the new Auto Timer can automatically determine the necessary amount of after idling time. A Manual Mode allows the user to preset desired idling times from 0 sec.~10 minutes in 16 increments. By inputting O2 sensor voltage, the Timer can also display theoretical air fuel ratio. Since the Auto Timer uses the factory O2 sensor which is primarily designed for emissions, the readings may not be as accurate when the O2 sensor is cold. A'PEX recommends that the O2 sensor readings be compared to a high grade "tuning" O2 sensor for comparison. The Timer can also display critical data such as O2 sensor voltage and Battery Voltage. To prevent potential theft while running, the handbrake safety feature shuts off the vehicle when the handbrake is released without the ignition key.
Note: The Apex Auto Timer does not come with a wiring harness and to our knowledge one is not available except for 2nd & 3rd Gen RX-7s. Add $18 for either A'PEXi FD or FC RX-7 harness and make a note in 'Special Instructions' including which harness you want.

Our Remote Switching System allows the user hands-free modulation between high boost and low boostsettings on either of our PRofec boost controllers. The new GReddy Full Auto Timers pack tons of features in one economical, compact unit. In addition to two standard programmable count down presents (P-1, P-2) our timer also has two Auto Timer modes,(A-L, A-H) which estimates the driving RPM according to the vehicles alternator signal and then recommends a count down time. And now there is a Stopwatch/Lap Time mode, and Attack mode. There is also a built in Voltmeter and Speedometer. Still standard are the optional Parking Brake and Speedo Safety hook-ups. HKS' all-new EVC (Electronic Valve Controller) is the first boost controller to feature integrated CPUs in each component (Display Unit, Control Module, and Stepping Motor) for more precise control, quicker response and improved boost pressure stability. This race proven system is available in kPa and PSI measurement and features an easy-to-read LCD panel that can be positioned separately from the control module for driver convenience. Feature and Benefits: COMPACT DESIGN The new ¼ DIN control unit, ½ DIN display unit and stepping motor are all compact in design, making for easier installation and mounting inside the cockpit and in the engine compartment. DIGITAL AND ANALOG DISPLAY The digital display shows real time / peak hold measurements while the adjustable range analog bar graph helps with intuitive perception of boost levels. WIDE SCREEN MULTI-DISPLAY A reverse illumination white display allows for improve visibility in various lighting conditions. The display shows multiply measurement readings for on the spot data confirmation. NTELLIGENT STEPPING MOTOR A CPU is imbedded into the stepping motor. This creates more direct and accurate control as the CPU virtually eliminates lag time between the stepping motor and control module. Thereby increasing linear boost control and stability. HIGH BOOST CAPABILITY A wide range of boost control is possible, from stock boost all the way up to 250 kPa / 36.25 PSI (2.5 bar) EASY BOOST SET-UP 2 individual boost levels can be easily set by simply turning the volume knobs of the control module. 2 MODE BOOST SETTING FUNCTION Separate A and B boost level settings can be tuned according to the users preference and can be switched via the control module or display unit. PEAK HOLD FUNCTION A peak hold function monitors and displays highest boost level attained to aid in tuning and performance. The peak hold valve is simultaneously displayed with the real-time measurement for full data viewing. SCRAMBLE BOOST FUNCTION A scramble boost function is integrated in the display unit. When the SBC button is pressed, an increased boost level is triggered for a selectable amount of time between 0-40 seconds. WARNING FUNCTION When boost levels exceed the warning levels, the display will flash and a buzzer will sound while the boost level returns to its baseline setting to protect possible engine and turbo damage. The warning boost level is also displayed as part of the multi-display data. STOCK BOOST RETURN FUNCTION When the EVC is turned off, the boost level setting will automatically return to stock (baseline boost). WASTEGATE SELECTION FUNCTION Can be used with either internal (swing valve) or external (poppet style) wastegates. DIMMER FUNCTION The display unit illumination can be adjusted for user preference. DATA MEMORY FUNCTION Data memory is stored in a CPU in each component. Therefore settings are retained if power is disconnected. DATA LOCK FUNCTION A security code can be inputted to protect against accidental changes in settings. OFFSET FUNCTION Offset function allows users to adjust the boost response and stability (Only available on EVC with PSI meter type). Price listed is for PSI unit, kPa also available.

The all new HKS Turbo Timer Type-1 is a full featured Turbo Timer that combines all the features of the Turbo Timer Type-0 with added monitoring and metering functions such as RPM, time to speed/distance, peak hold & warning features and a stopwatch for lap times. Unique to the Type-1 is that its metering and displays are in MPH and SAE standard readings. Ex. 0 to 60 MPH, 60 foot, 1/8 mile & 1/8 mile times with trap speeds in MPH. Type-1 carries over many of the popular features from the previous HKS units, including multiple preset times, audible alarms, up and down control buttons, power and memory buttons, and an easy to read back-lit digital display. The redesigned Type H-RFL is for high performance applications with the desire to be noticed! If you need to ask this valve is too loud for you! A new larger billet aluminum body and a beefier piston ensures the valve remains smooth under the most demanding circumstances.
