The CorkSport Mazdaspeed 6 intercooler kit is a complete package from the intake to the engine. CorkSport utilizes the air ducting of the stock Mazdaspeed 6 intercooler by replacing it with an airbox giving the car a Ram Air system. The kit features the following,
- Quality aluminum intercooler core, 21 in x 10 in x 3 in, with cast end tanks
- Polished 2.25” aluminum piping with bead rolled ends and mounting brackets
- CorkSport RAMAIR intake system with K&N Filter
- Silicone couplers with t-bolt clamps
- All necessary hardware needed for installation
- Detailed installation instructions
- Pre-purchase option for Stock, HKS, or Greddy BOV flange.
- ATP “Boost Cut Killer” (optional to install)
The kit has undergone extensive testing in the shop and on the street You can expect the following from installing the kit,
- Peak power gains of around 30 horsepower and 40 ft-lbs of torque.
- Intake boost increases 1-4 psi over the operating range of the turbocharger compared to stock.
- AFR is safe to support the increase in boost from the more efficient intercooler.

Please note when adding the recirculation option the fitting will not be polished like the rest of the intercooler piping. The CorkSport FMIC kit works with the following bypass/blow off valves; Greddy, HKS, Stock, and Forge. If the valve you have is not listed here there may be some clearance issues. |
